CGI Office Building

Fineline Engineers Inc. provided comprehensive MEP design services for this 20,000-square-foot legal office building in Freeport, Bahamas, delivering energy-efficient and climate-resilient solutions tailored to the island environment. A key feature of the project was the integration of a state-of-the-art Variable Refrigerant Volume (VRV/VRF) air conditioning system, also known as a VXVAC system. This advanced HVAC technology allows for individual zone control, enabling tenants to adjust temperatures in different areas for optimal comfort and energy savings. The system’s modular design reduced ductwork, preserved ceiling space, and minimized installation complexity. Additionally, its high energy efficiency helped lower operational costs and reduced the building’s carbon footprint, making it a smart choice for both performance and sustainability in a tropical climate.
